Off the Record 2 cd started because we wanted to transfer
about twenty old "special" recordings on to cd.
As members of a brass band during the 1960's and 70's and wanted
an easier way to play the records we had made.
The records, some "one off" contest recordings, others
professionally produced LP's, were no longer convenient to play using a
turntable. We transferred them successfully on to six cd's - the end results
are very good to listen to and are certainly easier to play. They are now played more frequently and bring back many memories of
those "good old days".
If you have any "special" or "one off" recordings
on vinyl or tape that you wish to have transferred to cd then simply
send them to us and we'll make a cd for you that can be played easily
over and over again.
As a result, the original vinyl or tape will be preserved and retain
it's value.
NB.
It may not be possible to fit 15 tracks of "special
recordings" onto a new cd. If in doubt, please contact us to
discuss further and to establish a price before sending your records or
tapes.
